Kia ora koutou. Welcome. We are a family of Thirty one Year 3/4 students at St James' Catholic School in New Zealand. We are Thirty One Independent Learners striving for excellence. Our goal is to serve others, respect the richness of our class cultures, to feel trusted and be nurtured through and by each other. Together we will make a difference. L.I: WALA the skills of track and field: shot put, discus and hurdles.
The middle team had a look at three areas of athletics - track and field (shotput, discus and hurdles). The purpose of this learning was to increase our skill base knowledge in these three areas so we would be better skilled for the St James' Athletics Day. During the video watching, we could gather the facts through note taking, followed by sharing with a partner our new information.
